Where do I even begin? Life has been busy to say the least: I got promoted at work (which has taken up a majority of my time) and I’ve been enjoying many other reasons for celebrations: my anniversary with Cameron, a beach birthday with my best girlfriends, Cameron’s birthday shortly after, etc. I’ll admit that I haven’t quite mastered how to juggle my new position at work, working on my art, and this blog! But I’m going to try to do better ❤
During my disappearance, I’ve been working on updating my wardrobe because I need a more polished and professional look (lol goodbye to my edgy and boho wardrobe). I’m trying to stick with classic pieces (boring) while staying true to my eclectic self. I’ve also decided to spend more on my accessories collection to help update looks from outfits that are already in my wardrobe. Here are some of my newest additions that I think are perfect for my spring and summer wardrobe:
^^ Chloe sunglasses (a birthday gift from Dad!) that I’ve been lusting over for months. The cateye shape is perfect on my face and is a nice, girly change from my usual Ray Ban aviators.
^^ Who wouldn’t be ecstatic to come across a lipstick color named after them?!?! NARS is already my go-to brand for lips, but finding this warm coral color (with my name literally on it!) made it even more necessary to add to my makeup collection.
^^ I had mixed feelings about espadrilles making a reappearance this season, but these Dolce Vita sandals were perfect. They’re modern and edgy, without looking too clunky and they’re incredibly comfortable too!
^^ These Ralph Lauren chevron studs are basically my everyday earrings (along with my rose gold signature pendant)
